After a lots of efforts by Russian designer Yuriy Dmitriev has designed gel-filled, fresh-looking, future
used and will be in most demanded appliance. His Bio Robot Refrigerator is having a special gel-liked substance that suspends and cools food once inserted.
In Electrolux Design Lab competition, the design which was selected was of Dmitriev’s who has redesigned the appliance in modern way for future. The best feature of bio-refrigerator is that, it can easily be mount on a wall either horizontally, vertically or even on the ceiling. Like refrigerator (fridge) it neither have traditional technology of cooling nor have motor which needs electricity. The-gel does all the work as that of refrigerator and is good way to preserve the food, and even have more usable space.
Dmitriev notes that the cooling agents are the “bio robots” inherent in the gel that use luminescence — light generated in cold temperatures — to preserve food. Although this sounds super techy and fun, Dmitriev doesn’t really explain how it’s going to work, so we’re a little skeptical of the Bio Robot Refrigerator becoming a reality someday.
Possibly this Bio refrigerator may become the most commonly used appliance, if it come in market. Probably the best thing about the concept of this machine is that it uses zero energy for cooling — it just needs energy for its little control pad. Compared to the typical modern fridge, which uses about 8% of a household’s energy, this nifty looking gadget of the future consumes less energy.
